Cruising the Mediterranean: July 2009
Barcelona to Venice to Istanbul
This trip is one that Betty and I have been looking forward to for a long time. We flew into Barcelona and boarded the Holland America ship Oosterdam. From Barcelona we sailed to Monte Carlo, Florence (Livorno), Civitaveccia, Messina, Dubrovnik, Venice, Corfu, Navplion, Katakolon, Athens, Istanbul, Kusadasi, Mydonos, Santorini and back to Venice--all in 24 days.

Final Thoughts...
Overall, we had a great cruise on Holland America and we will be back for more. We saw things we never thought we'd see, and certainly made some great friends along the way.
